Polish Citizenship Applications are evaluated by 2 separate institutions

Polish citizenship applications made due to marriage are evaluated by the Governorship in the state where the foreigner lives and It is concluded within approximately 6 months.

Citizenship applications made due to the deadline are evaluated by the President and finalized within 18 to 24 months.

POLAND CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION DUE TO MARRIAGE

A Foreigner who has received a Polish Permanent Settlement Permit Due to Marriage can apply for Polish Citizenship within 6 months from the day the Permanent Residence Permit Decision is issued. The Foreigner who does not apply within these 6 months has to wait to complete the next step "Polish Citizenship Application Due to Time" requirements.

• This application must be submitted personally by the Foreigner and there is no need for the Foreigner to renounce the citizenship of his/her own country.
• Such Liolonia citizenship applications are evaluated by the Governorship in the state where the foreigner resides and finalized within approximately 6 months.
• The foreigner must fill out the Application Form and write his CV in his own handwriting in Polish.

POLAND CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION DUE TO THE PERIOD

Foreigner who has received a Polish Permanent Settlement or Poland (European Union) Permanent Settlement Permit, this permit will be valid for 5 years from the date of the decision. If he/she resides in Poland, he/she will be entitled to apply for Polish Citizenship.

• Due to the time period, citizenship applications are evaluated by the President and finalized within 18 to 24 months.
• This application can be made by the Foreigner personally. It must be done and the foreigner does not need to renounce the citizenship of his own country.
• The foreigner must fill out the Application Form and write his CV in his own handwriting in dialect.
